Old China Hands Lunch 3 April

Good Friday

The Old China Hands Lunch 3 April was on Good Friday, before the Easter weekend and the Chongming holiday, so many could not make it. We had only 19 attendants with Renaat away. On the other hand we had the gracious presence of our Belgian ambassador.
The menu was really special and making a choice was difficult, thanks to  Morel’s Restaurant.
The menu, see the pictures :

  • tomato stuffed with fish salad OR cooked ham roll stuffed with Russian potato salad OR fresh daily soup
  • sliced roast beef with gravy served with cauliflower and pan-fried potatoes OR Belgian vol-au-vent with chicken in rich cream sauce served with daily vegetables and Belgian fried OR Waterzooi of fish served with boiled potatoes (dish from my hometown Gent)
  • daily desert

Next lunch is planned for Friday 8 May, because of the May First holiday.
